GenSan College Signs Four MOUs with Dubai, Northern Emirates-based Institutions
DUBAI 18 February 2018 — The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai witnessed the signing of four Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMS) of General Santos City and Skyline University of Sharjah, Bath Spa University of Rask Al Khaimah, Al Alfiah Private School also of Sharjah, and Geoscience Testing Laboratory, Dubai.
The RMMC signed four MOUs with the aforementioned institutions on the following areas of cooperation:
Skyline University: Faculty Exchange Program, Student Exchange Program, Curriculum Development, Research, Professional Development, and Leaning Support Services;
Bath Spa University: Joint Research, Exchange of Teaching Professionals and Researchers, and Student Exchange;
Al Alfiah Private School: Collaborative Research Projects, Student Exchanges, Field Trips, Immersion, and Volunteering Opportunities, Methods of Academic Collaboration, and Faculty Exchange;
Geoscience Testing Laboratory: Work Immersion Training and School-Industry Partnerships.
Consul General to Dubai Paul Raymund P. Cortes commended the RMMC for its desire to forge partnerships with these institutions.
Consul General Cortes noted that in July last year, Leyte Normal University (LNU) also signed MOUs with both Skyline University and Bath Spa University.
The RMMC joins LNU as one of the very few higher education institutions that has expressed interest on establishing academic and industry links with universities in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. END
