PH Embassy in Manama Welcomes New AFP Officer

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Manama welcomed the new Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Senior National Representative to the Combined Maritime Forces Captain Francis Alexander R. Jose, who assumed his duties on 12 February 2019 after the term of Captain Donn Anthony Miraflor from 25 January 2018. 

Captain Jose has been with the AFP as an officer of the Philippine Navy since 1992, and has occupied various positions including as Commanding Officer of Philippine Navy vessels, Research and Information Officer, Management and Fiscal Officer, Project Management Officer, and Education and Training Officer.

The turnover ceremony was held before Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso A. Ver, and was witnessed by Embassy officials and the family of Captain Miraflor.

Ambassador Ver congratulated Captain Miraflor on his successful tour of duty, and he likewise extended a warm welcome to Captain Jose as the newest addition to the Embassy team. (Manama PE photos)
