PH Consulate in Chittagong, Bangladesh Launches “Visa Center”

PHOTO: To foster closer friendship with the Philippines and Bangladesh and promote the country’s tourism, the Philippine Consulate in Chittagong headed by Honorary Consul Mohammed A. Awwal launched the “Visa Center” at the Agrabad Hotel in Chittagong. With the launching of visa issuance in Chittagong, applicants from Chittagong and nearby provinces need not go to Dhaka to apply for a Philippine visa.

The event was attended by Chittagong Mayor and guest of honor AJM Nasir Uddin and Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo. Chittagong’s VIPs and Honorary Consuls from different Embassies also attended the event. (Dhaka PE photo)
