Filipinos Now Have Easier Access to Argentine Visas

BUENOS AIRES 19 February 2019 — Argentina released Resolution 33/2019 on 12 February 2019, authorizing the inclusion of the Philippines among a group of selected countries that may avail themselves of easier access to Argentine visas.

The inclusion of the Philippines in Argentina’s Autorizacion Electronica de Viajes (AVE) System provider Filipinos who already have United States B2 visas, the facility to apply for their Argentine visas through the website of the Direccion Nacional de Migraciones (National Directorate for Migration): migraciones.gov.ar

The inclusion of the Philippines in the list is seen to increase tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, especially as more Filipinos develop a taste for traveling to new destinations.

Argentines may enter the Philippines visa-free for a period of thirty days. END
