PH Embassy in Mexico Conducts Consular Outreach Mission in Panama City

PANAMA 19 February 2019 –  As part of its Embassy on Wheels program, the Philippine Embassy in Mexico conducted its first consular outreach for the year in Panama City, Panama on 26-27 January 2019. 

The Embassy team, composed of First Secretary and Consul Ma. Carmela Teresa A. Cabreira and Attaché Jocelyn L. Nones, processed a total of 28 passport applications and one travel document, and answered numerous queries regarding civil registry and authentication of documents.  

In addition to consular services, the Embassy team also took the opportunity during their visit to Panama City to meet with members of the Filipino Community to discuss issues of concern, particularly those regarding the regularization of their status, employment contracts, and benefits as workers in Panama.
