23 January 2014 - As part of its continuing efforts to promote the Philippines as an alternative tourist destination to Thais and other foreign visitors, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok launched a new exhibition entitled “Philippine Festivals” at the gallery @ 760 Sukhumvit road in the last week of December 2013.

The exhibition consists of colorful photos featuring selected Philippine festivals. Four of the tarpaulins contain a quick response code that direct smartphone users to the Philippine Department of Tourism  (DOT) – IMFP website.

The photos were provided by the DOT, Mr. Ramoncito Bucud and Ms. Lorna Coral-Horn, who are volunteer Filipino photographers based in Thailand. The exhibition will run for three months. END
