PH Ambassador Attends Middle East Ideal House Exhibition

PHOTO: As part of tourism and investment promotion, Philippine Embassy in Baghdad Charge d’ Affaires e.p. Ambassador Julius D. Torres attended the first Middle East Ideal House Exhibition in Erbil, Iraq on 21 February.

The Middle East Ideal House Exhibition is the first of its kind in Iraq after the end of the period of crises caused by the Islamic States of Iraq and Syria. It showcases decorative, furniture and fixtures for an “ideal house” and creates opportunities to connect local, regional, and international producers, distributors, and vendors.

During an interview, Ambassador Torres cited the Philippines as an alternative source of construction and decoration items particularly products with a high design component. (Baghdad PE photos)
