28 January 2014 - Christmas in the Philippines is like no other in the world!

This was the gist of the presentation of Philippine Consul General in Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores before a crowd of 600 guests during the annual Christmas gathering of the Christian Business Men Association (CBMA), Xiamen City Chapter on 14 December 2013.

He invited all guests to visit the Philippines and “have more fun” specially during the holiday season.

Consul General Flores highlighted the most important symbols of Filipino Christmas traditions including the parol, the Belen and the Christmas tree.  He also cited several factors, including the fusion of indigenous, Spanish and American cultures, which are attributed to creating a unique, colorful and lengthy Christmas celebration in the Philippines.

CBMA is an international Christian businessmen’s organization in 70 countries with over 50,000 members.  END
