PH Embassy in Manama Continues its Financial Assistance Program for Successful Flexi Visa Applicants

10 February 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama distributed Flexi Visa cards, better known as Blue Cards, for the second batch of household service worker (HSW) beneficiaries this 2019 of the Embassy’s Financial Assistance Program for successful Flexi Visa applicants. 

Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso A. Ver led the distribution of the Flexi Visa cards to a total of 42 beneficiaries at the Sitra Branch of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority of Bahrain on 07 February 2019.

The Financial Assistance Program has been a flagship project of the Embassy since October 2018. A total of 591 Filipino workers, including 45 former HSWs, benefited from the program from October to December 2018. 

This year, a total of 60 former HSWs have successfully been issued their Blue Cards through the Embassy’s financial assistance program, bringing the total of HSW beneficiaries to 105 since the program began accepting HSWs to apply. END
