PH Embassy Provides Consular Services to Over 200 Filipinos in Darwin
DARWIN 13 March 2019 – As part of its mandate to bring consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Canberra deployed a consular team and extended services to over 200 Filipino nationals in Darwin, Australia on 05-07 March 2019.
The consular mission was headed by Consul General Jim B. San Agustin, and included Labor Attaché Cynthia Lamban, Ruel Penaflorida and Leonora De Ramos.
The Darwin mobile mission team, with the support of the Philippine Honorary Consul General Januario John Rivas, attended to 238 Philippine ePassport applicants, and administered the oath of allegiance to 11 applicants who reacquired their Philippine citizenship under the Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition Act of 2003.
