DUBAI 13 March 2019 – Consul General to Dubai Paul Raymund Cortes led the graduation ceremony of Bath Spa University-EduQual on 10 March 2019, where 35 Filipino students and professionals received their Level 8 Higher National Diploma and Level 11 Masters in Business Management Scottish Quality Assurance (SQA) Accredited Diploma.
Consul General Cortes encouraged the graduates to look beyond education as an investment that needs simply to be recouped financially. He urged them to use their education as a means to help find solutions to global issues and concerns, and as an avenue to continue serving humanity.
EduQual is a regulated awarding body approved by SQA-Accreditation, a globally-recognized national qualifications regulator in the United Kingdom. It is partnered with the United Arab Emirates’ branch of Bath Spa University.
From Level 8, the graduates would then continue their education for one more year at the Bath Spa University in Ras Al Khaimah for their bachelor’s degree. Those in Level 11, on the other hand, must finish their research and thesis at the IPE School of Management in Paris for their master’s degree. END
