Spouse of PH Consul General Hosts Luncheon to Celebrate Int’l Women’s Day

PHOTO: In celebration of the International Women’s Day, Madame Araceli C. Jimeno, spouse of Consul General to Honolulu Joselito A. Jimeno, hosted a luncheon at the official residence on 08 March 2019.

Invited guests include Madame Misako Ito, spouse of the Consul General of Japan; Madame Yunsun Lee, spouse of the Consul General of Korea; the ladies of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu; and friends of the Consulate General. 

Madame Jimeno noted that International Women’s Day is an opportunity to highlight the special bonds between the women.

Guests informally shared stories about themselves and the women who have inspired them. They enjoyed Filipino dishes served during the luncheon such as adobo, palabok, and insaladang talong with mango. (Honolulu PCG photos)
