04February 2014- Three Philippine companies participated in HOMI, the international home show for buyers at the Fiera Milano which was held from January 19 to 22.  The exhibit welcomed industry players who care about the forms of beauty, taste and style in personal and location-based items.

HOMI is the natural evolution of the famous MACEF international home fair which existed for the past 50 years. The concept of HOMI splits the house in ten “dimensions” (satellites) which represent the visions of living: living habits, home wellness, personal care and fragrances, fashion and jewels, gift and events, garden and outdoor, kid style, home textiles, hobby and work, concept lab.

Philippine participants were Unijel International Trading Inc., G Designare and Alpaz Export Corp. Unijel and Alpaz manufacture fashion accessories and costume jewelries made from local materials such as shells, wood and natural fibers. G Designare manufactures bags of organic textiles aside from fashion accessories. END
