PH Embassy Attends 2019 Pinoy Bowler’s Club Bowling Tournament

BRUNEI 18 March 2019 — Officials of the Philippine Embassy in Brunei, led by Chargé d’ Affaires (CDA), a.i. Jaybee B. Arguillas, attended the opening of the Season 4 Bowling Tournament of by the Pinoy Bowler’s Club of Brunei (PBC) on 26 February 2019 at Utama Bowling Center in Bandar Seri Begawan.

A total of 11 teams will be competing in the tournament, which will run for approximately twelve weeks.

In her message during the opening ceremony, CDA Arguillas commended the PBC officers and members who organized the tournament, and encouraged them to continue to be a strong partner of the Embassy in promoting programs for the Filipino community in the country.

The Embassy fully supports the activities organized by Filipino community organizations, including sports events that promote healthy lifestyle and strengthens fellowship among Filipino nationals in Brunei. END
