PH Consulate General in Milan Conducts Consular Mission in Mestre

PHOTO: As part of its mandate to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Consulate General in Milan conducted its second mobile consular mission for 2019 in Mestre, Italy on 16-17 March 2019.

Representatives of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Overseas Workers’ Welfare Office Milan, Social Security System, and Pag-IBIG Fund joined a nine-member team from the Consulate General for the mobile consular mission. 

The activity enabled Filipinos in Veneto region and nearby areas to avail of consular services without having to take a day off from work and under the three-hour travel to Milan.   

The mobile consular mission was organized by the Consulate General with the able support of Honorary Consul Giorgia de Biasi and Filipino community organization Comunita Filippina di Venezia Mestre e Terraferma, led by its President, Darwin Gutierrez. (Milan PCG photos)
