PH Consulate General in Agana Holds First Consular Outreach Mission in Saipan for 2019

AGANA 20 March 2019 — The consular team from the Philippine Consulate General in Agana processed a total of 426 applications for ePassport renewals during the first consular outreach mission for 2019 in the island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
EPassport applicants represented the majority of Filipino clients who were served during the three-day mission, which was held from 03 to 05 March 2019 at the Parish Social of the Kristo Rai Church in Garapan, Saipan.
Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy led the consular team that provided a total of 496 consular services to the Filipino community in Saipan. The consular team from Guam was joined by Attorney Evelyn Llanes, Board Secretariat head of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
As OWWA official representative during the consular outreach mission, Attorney Llanes was able to process 2,517 OWWA member applications, including renewals and enrollments.
The next consular outreach mission of the Consulate General will be a back-to-back visit to Tinian and Saipan in May 2019, once the overseas voting period for the May 2019 elections is over. Details for that consular outreach mission will be released at a later date. END
