PH Consulate General in SanFo Holds Training on Customer Service, Consular Matters

PHOTO: With the aim of improving its consular services to the public, the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco held a workshop and training on customer service and consular matters for its personnel at the Philippine Center on 09 March 2019.

The Consulate General’s officers and staff participated in the training workshop that discussed issues and challenges encountered by personnel in providing the Consulate General’s key services, such as passport, civil registration, legal, dual citizenship processing, to better serve the public.

The workshop focused on the principles, processes and ways to improve the Consulate General’s services. The group also discussed certain cases or situations relative to consular services that are assessed in light of guidance and updates emanating from concerned agencies such as the Department of Foreign Affairs, and Philippine Statistics Authority in Manila.

The Consulate General also participated in group activities that aimed to revisit the core principles of customer service and the values embodied by public servants to better serve its clientele. (San Francisco PCG photos)
