PHNOM PENH 25 March 2019 — In line with its continuing goal to deliver efficient and effective consular and assistance-to-nationals services to Filipinos in Cambodia, officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh actively participated in a customer service training facilitated by Ms. Nicky Enriquez at the Embassy’s Consular Section on 09 March 2019.

Ms. Enriquez is an acknowledged people relations expert and one of the most sought-after human resource practitioners in Cambodia.

“As humans, we have the ability to be better tomorrow than yesterday,” Ms. Enriquez, who currently serves as Chief Human Resource Officer of the Royal Group of Companies of Cambodia said. She also underlined the significance of active listening and empathy when interacting with clients.

The training module consisted of lectures and simulation exercises on improving the customer experience of those availing of the Embassy's services.

“Our monthly client feedback platform consistently shows that more than 90 percent of the Embassy's clients are satisfied with our services," Ambassador to Cambodia Christopher B. Montero noted.

"However, as public servants, it is our duty to serve Filipinos in Cambodia not only in an efficient and effective manner, but also with a customer-friendly and empathetic disposition, especially our clients who are in dire situations,” he concluded.
