11 February 2014 - The Finance Officers of Philippine Embassies and Consulates General in the Americas gathered in San Francisco to attend a Finance Officers’ Retooling Seminar from  January 27 to 30.

The seminar was conducted by officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Commission on Audit (COA) to brief participants on public management reforms, and accounting and auditing rules and regulations, among others.

This was in line with President Benigno S. Aquino’s commitment to bringing forth greater efficiency, transparency, accountability, and openness in the budget, expenditure and reporting process. END
