11 February 2014 - Leading Korean bank BBCN, led by its President, Mr. Soo Bong Min, presented a cheque donation to the American Red Cross (ARC) for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) Relief Efforts presented today at their corporate headquarters in Los Angeles.

The employees of BBCN Bank raised US$ 40,000 for the Typhoon Yolanda Relief Efforts. The BBCN President expressed sympathy and support for those affected by the typhoon.

Consul Marlowe Miranda from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles conveyed appreciation for the donation from the employees of the BBCN some of whom gave up their vacation funds to assist and support relief efforts. END
