ASEAN countries make up South Australia’s largest export market, third largest source of international students, and an increasingly important source of investors in the state.

In summary, countries of ASEAN are invaluable partners and friends to us. The ties between us are underpinned by remarkably strong people-to-people, cultural and two-way visitor linkages,” South Australian Premier Steven Marshall said.

The South Australia Program provided ASEAN Heads of Missions and their representatives with an overview of the key measures being undertaken by the South Australian Government to promote innovation and create opportunities for stronger economic and socio-cultural engagement between ASEAN member states and South Australia.
