THE HAGUE 28 March 2019 —  Ambassador to the Netherlands Jaime Victor B. Ledda attended the ceremony commemorating the 101st Dies Natalis (Anniversary) of the Wageningen University and Research (WUR) on 11 March 2019.

During this year’s ceremony, an inspiring symposium was organized by WUR’s Graduate School’s students who presented their innovative work in their respective scientific researches and disciplines.

Among those present at this event were Filipino students enrolled at WUR’s research and post-graduate studies in plant breeding, bio-informatics, urban environmental management, soil physics, and remote sensing.

Ambassador Ledda took the opportunity to hold a “meet and greet” and host lunch for the Filipino students Reynaldo Diocton, Kristine Arcena, Roven Fuentes, Arnan Araza, Coleen Carranza, and Ann Marielle Evarita, who are either affiliated with the University of the Philippines Los Baños, the International Rice Research Institute and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
