PH Embassy in Moscow Reminds Filipino to Be Vigilant and Cautious

MOSCOW 28 March 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Moscow held a briefing on personal safety and security entitled “PINOY Laging Handa,” as part of the celebration of International Women’s Month at the Philippine Embassy in Moscow on 24 March 2019.

The main objective of the lecture is to raise awareness about the potential dangers associated with the day to day activities of Filipino community in Russia.

Embassy’s Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché (ODAFA) Administrative Assistant, Technical Sergeant Pablito Igne reminded the Filipinos “to keep ourselves in attendance and others safe the best advice remains … to be vigilant, cautious and curious with your surroundings.”

Technical Sergeant Igne also served as Country Analysts, Research and Liaison for the ODAFA in Japan, Myanmar, South Korea and China.

Thirty-two members of the Filipino community attended the seminar, many of whom expressed their appreciation for the Embassy’s initiative for constantly reminding them to be safe and protected. END
