PH Ambassador Calls On Sri Lanka Foreign Ministry Officials

PHOTO: Ambassador to Bangladesh and non-resident Ambassador to Sri Lanka Vicente Vicentio T. Bandillo called on the new Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry Director General for East Asia and Pacific Damanayanthi Rajapakse on 19 March 2019 as follow-up call on the recent visit of Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena to the Philippines in January 2019.

Commonalities between the two countries were identified as possible areas of cooperation between Sri Lanka and Philippines. Bilateral agreements on the side of Sri Lanka were also followed-up.

To strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the international arena, Ambassador Bandillo also called on Director General Mashini Colone of the United Nations and Human Rights, North America Wing of the Sri Lanka Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Honorary Consul Hugh Sriyal Dissanayake and Attaché Joany G. Margallo-Lucas accompanied Ambassador Bandillo in the calls. (Dhaka PE photos)
