Virgelia Productions, Gasa Charities Pay a Courtesy Call on PH Consul General to LA

LOS ANGELES 01 March 2019 – Virgelia Villegas—President of Virgelia Productions, owner and producer of beauty pageants, Miss Asia USA, Miss Teen Asia USA, Mrs. Asia USA, Miss Latina Global, and Miss Teen Latina Global—paid a courtesy call on Consul General to Los Angeles Adelio Angelito S. Cruz on 28 February 2019.

Ms. Villegas was accompanied by Mrs. Asia USA California 2019 Corazon Ugalde Armenta, Mrs. Asia USA California 2019 delegate Sheri Dizon, Gasa Charities President and Chief Executive Officer Hilda Tiu Mauro, Managing Editor Roy Rodrigazo Luga of business and lifestyle magazine Pilipinas Ngayon Na, and Mr. Roland Rivera.

Aside from producing beauty pageants and other events, Ms. Villegas also informed Consul General Cruz that since its establishment, her company has been supporting many non-profit organizations.

Ms. Mauro then briefed the Consul General on Gasa Charities’ main advocacy to build and maintain a public library and learning center in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.

Ms. Armenta also said that her new company, Corazon Productions Inc., will be launched together with the Pilipinas Ngayon Na LA Edition on 24 March 2019.

Consul General Cruz congratulated all the guests for their accomplishments, and commended their sense of civic duty and filial responsibility towards their kababayan. He also invited them to participate in the Consulate General’s forthcoming projects and activities. END
