17 February 2014 – Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) legends Alvin “The Captain” Patrimonio, Noli “The Tank” Locsin and Bong “The Specialist” Ravena, respectively, called on Philippine Ambassador to Italy Virgilio A. Reyes, Jr. at the Philippine Embassy in Rome on January 27 and 29. 

Patrimonio, Locsin and Ravena were in Rome to play basketball in an exhibition game on January 26 with the Filipino all-stars team of Rome. 

“JAO’s Cup Invitational: A One Day League with PBA Legends” was organized by basketball enthusiast Jeffrey A. Ocampo.  Mr. Ocampo intends to bring more PBA superstars to Rome to promote Philippine basketball to Filipinos, especially the youth, in Italy. END
