PH Consulate General in Frankfurt Celebrates National Women’s Month 2019

In line with the National Women’s Month 2019 celebration, the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt conducted various activities such as online campaign, production and distribution of information materials on women’s issues, showing of a video celebrating International Women’s Day, designation of 8 March as “Purple Friday”, and the provision of a “Women’s Lane” and selfie corner at the Consulate General’s Consular Section. 

The month-long activities were also an opportunity to encourage the Consulate General’s personnel and consular applicants to join the call to advance women’s rights and gender equality, break gender stereotypes, and stop gender-based violence and discrimination against women. (Frankfurt PCG photo)
