Philippine Embassy in Jakarta Participates in the Asia Europe Meeting Day 2019

JAKARTA 01 APRIL 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta participated in the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Day 2019 celebration with the theme “Connectivity between Asia and Europe” in Jakarta on 27 March 2019.
The whole-day event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and in partnership with ASEM Embassies in Jakarta and Al Azhar University, aimed to increase public awareness of ASEM and promote ASEM programs and achievements to the students, and other guests. An ASEM Talk Show and ASEM Quiz were also part of the activities.
During the celebration, the Embassy promoted Philippine culture, education, and tourism by displaying and distributing Philippine tourism materials to the teachers, students, and guests.
The Embassy also provided participants with a taste of Filipino delicacies and snacks with servings of biko and turon, which were among the most-liked delicacies enjoyed by the guests. END
