19 February 2014 - Filipina singer and former child star Aiza Seguerra performed before thousands of Filipino fans in a free Valentine concert entitled, “Pusong Pinoy,” on February 16 at the Palatiziano in Rome, Italy.

On behalf of the Philippine Embassy in Rome, Consul Enrique Voltaire Pingol, in his remarks, congratulated the organizers of the concert, as well as its principal sponsor Globe Telecom Italy Srl.  Consul Pingol said the concert conveys the importance of communicating love not only among the members of the Filipino community in Italy but more importantly back home in the Philippines.

The concert was also graced by the presence of Philippine Ambassador to the Holy See Merceditas Tuason.

Aiza Seguerra sang a number of her original songs and a mixture of famous OPM and American love songs.

The concert also provided a venue for some of the members of the Filipino community to showcase their singing and dancing talents.  END
