MACAU SAR 09 April 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General in Macau conducted a Filipino Community Leaders' Meeting, which was attended by 80 individuals representing 42 organizations, at the Consulate General on 28 March 2019.
During the meeting, the schedule of the Independence Day celebration for the Filipino community on 16 June 2019 was announced and the guidelines for the issuance of NBI Clearance for applicants abroad was discussed. Consul Ira Micheline R. Valdez reminded Filipinos that the schedule for overseas absentee voting for the Senatorial and Party List Elections from 13 April to 13 May 2019.
Labor Attaché Ramon Lamberto C. Pastrana, together with Welfare Officer Zosima Maria P. Santos and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrative Staff Brenda D. Olinares, presented a briefer on guidelines on the processing of returning workers. Labor Attaché Pastrana explained the procedures and documentary requirements required for the processing of returning workers in Macau. END
