PH Consulate General in Los Angeles Joins OAV Training

LOS ANGELES 17 April 2019 — In view of the upcoming elections and to facilitate overseas voting, eight personnel of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles participated in a three-day “On-site Regional Training on the Implementation of the Automated Election System in Overseas for Purposes of the 2019 National Elections” conducted by Commission on Elections (COMELEC) held on 03-05 April 2019 at Philippine Center Building in San Francisco.
More than 50,000 overseas registered voters under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General will be able to vote in the national elections from 13 April to 13 May 2019.
The Final Testing and Sealing (FTS) of the VCMs was done on 10 April 2019 at the Office of the Consul General. END
