Filipino Community Avail of Sunday Consular Services at PH Consulate General in Milan
MILAN 25 April 2019 — Members of the Filipino community in northern Italy trooped to the Philippine Consulate General in Milan on 31 March 2019 for its second special Sunday consular services.
The Consulate General served a total of 320 clients, mostly passport applicants, and those filing for civil registry documents and notarials. The attached agencies such as Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Social Security Services and Pag-Ibig Fund attended to a total of 444 applicants.
As part of its efforts to make its services more accessible to Filipinos in its jurisdiction, the Consulate General opens it doors to the public on Sundays in 2019. This is in addition to 15 mobile consular missions (MCMs) to be conducted in areas outside Milan.
The next Sunday special consular service is set on 26 May 2019. END
