PH Consulate General in Agana Opens Overseas Voting, Conducts Ballot Feeding

AGANA 26 April 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Agana opened the first day of overseas voting on 13 April 2019 following the successful Final Testing and Sealing (FTS) of the Vote Counting Machine (VCM) on 06 April 2019.
The Consulate General’s Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) conducts ballot feeding every Monday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. in accordance with the General Instructions issued by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). It employs the Postal Voting mode.
There are 13,121 registered overseas voters in Guam including those in Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, and Republic of Marshall Islands.
Registered voters are reminded to mail back their completed ballots as early as possible in time for the canvassing of votes at the Consulate General on 13 May 2019 in Guam to be conducted by the Special Board of Canvassers chaired by Consul General De Borja. END
