PH Embassy in Greece Joins Greek Travel Show 2019
PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Athens participated in the Greek Travel Show 2019, held at HELEXPO in Athens from 12 to 14 April 2019. The Embassy booth featured posters of Fort Santiago in Intramuros, the Lanzones Festival in Camiguin Island, and the Kasadyaan Festival in Tacloban. Visitors to the Philippine Embassy booth were given brochures on Bohol, Boracay, Calabarzon, Cebu, Cordillera, Davao, Iloilo, Manila, Palawan, and Puerto Galera.
The opening ceremony was held on 12 April 2019 and was attended by Greek Tourism Ministry General Secretary for Tourism Georgia Karasthasi. More than 140 exhibitors participated in the event, most notably Celestyal Cruises, Cruiseway Travel, GTP Greek Travel Pages, Zeus Travel, Zorpidis Travel Service, as well as other representatives of the tourism industry.
