PH Craftsmanship Highlighted in Hong Kong Houseware Fair

HONG KONG 02 May 2019 — Eight Philippine exhibitor companies participated in the 34th Edition of Hong Kong House Fair on 20 April 2019 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Led by the Center for International Trade Exposition and Missions (CITEM) with the support of Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Guangzhou, the companies which participated in the show include ANMC Trading, Apollo Trading & Manufacturing Corporation, CSM Philippines Inc., GDI-Global Décor Inc./GDI (Manila), Gillette International, Manila Welcome Ind. Corp., Sunwood Export,  and Terra Cotta  Art Works, Inc.  (formerly Riviera Clay Phil., Inc).

Some Philippine companies have also joined last year’s fair, such as the Apollo Trading & Manufacturing Corporation; Terra Cotta Art Works, Inc.; Manila Welcome Industrial Corp.; and Sunwood Export. The ANMC Trading, which stopped participating for almost five years, promised to resume its active participation to the HKTDC fairs. This time, a start-up company “Art n Nature”, being managed by the second generation family members, will participate in the forthcoming Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair on 27-30 April 2019.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong House Fair is Asia’s  largest fair of its kind, featuring exhibitors around the world that serves as a one-stop shop platform to explore home and interior trends, to establish connections and networking. This year’s major themes to celebrate is L.I.F.E. which stands for Lifestyle, Interiors, Feast, and Enrich.

There were about 2,200 exhibitors from 26 countries/cities which participated in the houseware fair, including the maiden exhibitors from Egypt, France and Greece. Guangdong, Macau and Jiangmen showcased quality products from the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and the Macau Greater Bay Area. END
