JEDDAH 02 May 2019 — As part of its mandate to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, a team from the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah conducted Consular Mobile Services (CMS) for Filipinos in the city of Tabuk from 26 to 27 April 2019 at the Hotel Suites Luxury.

The consular team processed 259 passport applications, 33 legalization of documents, and 62 related services including passport validity extensions, certifications and police clearance endorsements.

Representatives from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Pag-IBIG and SSS also joined the CMS to offer their respective services.

The Consulate General conducts consular mobile services in Tabuk at least thrice a year for the benefit of Filipinos in the area who have to take a 12-hour land travel or an hour-and-a-half plane ride just to get to Jeddah for their consular needs. The second CMS was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of members of the Filipino community in Tabuk. END
