27 February 2014 - The Philippine Ladies Circle in South Africa headed by Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, spouse of Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. hosted “Welcome 2014” an afternoon gathering for the Filipino community to welcome 2014 and discuss the future events of the Philippine Ladies Circle and Philippine Embassy. 

In her remarks, Madame Ramos-Vingno welcomed the Filipino community, gave thanks for their support on the previous year’s projects of the Philippine Ladies Circle and requested for continuous support for their upcoming project this year.

The afternoon was filled with dancing and fun conversation. The Filipino community enjoyed refreshments such as lumping shanghai, gulaman at sago, paksiw na pata at pansit prepared by the Embassy. END
