PH Envoy to ASEAN Pays Farewell Call On Indonesian Foreign Minister

PHOTO: Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso paid a farewell call on Indonesia Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on 29 April 2019 to express appreciation for the support and cooperation accorded to her during her six-year tour of duty in Indonesia.

Ambassador Buensuceso also highlighted Minister Marsudi’s support to ASEAN processes and mechanisms.

For her part, Minister Marsudi expressed her personal appreciation to Ambassador Buensuceso for her contributions during the High-Level Dialogue on Indo-Pacific Cooperation hosted by the Government of Indonesia in March 2019.  She also expressed that Indonesia will continue to nurture its relationship with the Philippines and with other Member States to build an even stronger ASEAN.

Ambassador Buensuceso also took the opportunity to present Foreign Minister Retno with the publication entitled “Sem Sem No Sem: A Cookbook of ASEAN Noodle Dishes” which was one of the outcomes of the Philippine-organized Mini-Festival of ASEAN Noodle Dishes. (Jakarta PM photo)
