PH Embassy in Yangon Teaches PH Games to Myanmar Kids

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Yangon organized the “Palarong Pinoy” for members of the Philippine Embassy Youth Choir on 26 April 2019 at the Philippine Embassy grounds.

Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jan Michael B. Gomez taught the children various Philippine games including “agawan ng panyo”, “patintero”, “lawin at sisiw”, and “aswang aswang”.

A total of 24 children, including 20 from Myanmar, two from Ghana, and two from the Philippines participated in the event, which ended with the Embassy treating them to Filipino-style spaghetti and Philippine fruit salad.
