PH Embassy in Ankara Conducts Consular Mission, Overseas Voting in Istanbul

PHOTO: As part of its mandate to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, a team from the Philippine Embassy in Ankara served close to 300 Filipinos in Istanbul, Turkey in a consular mission on 21 April 2019 and conduct of overseas voting on 20-21 April 2019.

A total of 136 ePassport services, two Travel Documents, 40 Embassy IDs services, 79 Notarization, three Civil Registration (Reports of Birth), eight NBI Clearances, one Certification (Legal Capacity to Marry) and 31 contacts verified by Philippine Overseas Labor Office.

Overseas registered Filipino voters also personally came to pick up their ballot mailing packets. A total of 312 accomplished ballots were received on 20-21 April 2019.

A meeting with the Filipino community also was held to discuss the latest developments in Turkey and the community’s plans for this year’s Independence Day activities in Istanbul. (Ankara PE photo)
