Montebello City Council Swears in Fil-Am as Investment Commitee Member

MONTEBELLO 07 May 2019 — The City Council of Montebello confirmed the nomination of Filipino-American lawyer Abraham L. Lim as a new member of the City’s Investment Committee on 24 April 2019.
Consul General to Los Angeles Adelio Angelito Cruz witnessed Attorney Lim’s oath-taking ceremony before the City Council.
During his speech, Attorney Lim expressed his sterling commitment to serve the city with utmost dedication ensuring to prioritize its interests.
In his new capacity, the Filipino-American lawyer will take part in reviewing, monitoring and making recommendations to the City’s investment program.
Prior to joining the government service, Commissioner Lim is a practicing lawyer in the realm of U.S. immigration law, crisis management and corporate law. He is also the President of the Los Angeles-Makati Sister City Association, an active Filipino-American community organization duly accredited by the Consulate General.
A city in Los Angeles, Montebello is situated in the southwestern area of San Gabriel Valley. It is one of the members of the Gateway Cities Council of Governments. END
