PH Embassy in Muscat Holds Seminar on Gender, Dev’t

The Gender and Development (GAD) Unit of the Philippine Embassy in Muscat held a Seminar on “Understanding and Implementing the Gender and Development (GAD) Program of the Philippine Government” for the management and teachers of the Philippine School in Oman (PSO) on 13 April 2019.

The Embassy shared information on the GAD program, including key concepts and related laws and regulations, to enable the school to update and create concerned guidelines and policies, with the aim of aligning the school with the Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy of the Philippines’ Department of Education.
