PH Embassy in Ottawa Holds Outreach Missions in Fredericton
PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa undertook its first consular outreach mission to Canada’s Maritime provinces for the year on 25-26 April 2019 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and 28-29 April 2019 in Halifax, Nova Scotia to provide consular services to Filipinos in those cities and nearby communities.
The Embassy team, led by Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia and joined by First Secretary and Consul Eric Aquino and Consular Assistants Rosalie Gosalves, Maria Teresa Bragais, Alvin Conchas, Rodel Bendicio, and Rachelle Grace Caldito, processed a total of 652 consular services during the outreach mission in the two cities.
In Halifax, Ambassador Garcia also met with the Philippine honorary consular officers, namely Consul General Sean Sears, Consul-designate Consuelo Lacson, and Vice Consul Elizabeth Eustaquio-Domondon, to discuss their forthcoming projects to commemorate Philippine Independence Day and Heritage Month, as well as developments in Nova Scotia immigration regulations and their effects on the Filipino community there.
