PH Hosts Roadshow, Networking Event in Quanzhou City
PHOTO: The Philippines, in a collaborative work by the Philippine Tourism Office in Shanghai (PTO-Shanghai), the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen, conducted a roadshow cum networking event in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, as part of its participation in the China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo (CILTE) 2019 held from 19 to 21 April 2019.
It aim to renew friendship with the private sector partnering with the Philippine government and the private sector in its efforts to intensify its tourism promotion campaign in China.
The event was attended by representatives from various tourism partners including Quanzhou City Cultural and Tourism Bureau, Quanzhou (Jinjiang) Airport, Philippine Airlines, Xiamen Airlines as well as accredited travel agencies and tour operators.
Consul General to Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores delivered the opening remarks underscoring the strong partnership between the Philippines and Fujian’s public and private sectors in helping promote the Philippines as an exciting destination to the Chinese market.
Tourism Attaché Rene Reyes delivered a video presentation on the Philippine government’s tourism promotion latest products initiatives including its goal for 2019 and beyond. Representatives from the Quanzhou Cultural and Tourism Bureau, Quanzhou Airport, Philippine Airlines, and Xiamen Airlines also made their respective presentations. (Xiamen PCG photo)
