PH Consulate General in Houston Conducts First-ever Consular Outreach Mission in Oklahoma

HOUSTON 10 May 2019 — As part of the Philippine Government’s efforts to bring its various services closer to the public, the Philippine Consulate General in Houston conducted its first ever consular outreach mission in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 27 April 2019.

Oklahoma City is the capital of Oklahoma state, which is home to some 11,647 Filipinos.

A total of 196  services were rendered during the consular outreach mission. The consular outreach mission was done in cooperation with Filipino Friends for Filipinos, an Oklahoma-based Filipino non-government organization, at St. Eugene Parish Church.

The Consular Outreach Mission was conducted by a delegation led by Consul General Jerril G. Santos and was composed of Vice Consul Marco AFL Lopez, Melinda S. Hernais, Edgardo G. Esteban, Elisea A. Garcia-Sarion, Mary Jane A. Mariano, and Reymond B. Cabales. END
