PH Consulate General Participates in Military Travel Fair

AGANA 15 May 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Guam, led by Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy, attended the 16th Annual Travel Fair at the Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB) Sunrise Conference Center and the Naval Base Guam (NBG) Top o’ the Mar on 01 and 02 May 2019, respectively.
The Fair, organized by the AAFB and NBG Community Recreation Tickets and Travel (CRT&T), is designed to provide the military community and their families stationed on Guam with travel packages, airfare, hotel and tour promotions and/ or destination-specific materials.
The Consulate General distributed Department of Tourism information materials on various destinations in the Philippines, joining 32 participating vendors including Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.
Guam Economic Development Authority reported that, based on the most recent Commander Naval Forces Marianas figures, Guam is home to 12,807 military members and their dependents. END
