PH Consul General in LA Receives PH Competition Commissioner

PHOTO: Consul General to Los Angeles Adelio Angelito S. Cruz, together with Philippine Embassy in Los Angeles Political Officer Consul Rea G. Oreta, received Philippine Competition Commissioner (PCC) Macario R. de Claro, Jr. on 21 May 2019 in Los Angeles.

The Commissioner shared developments on the PCC programs, particularly in promoting and ensuring fair competition in the market for the benefit of consumers and businesses in the Philippines. PCC was established in 2015, pursuant to Republic Act 10667 on An Act Providing for a National Competition Policy Prohibiting Anti-Competitive Agreements, Abuse of Dominant Position and Anti-Competitive.
