PH Embassy in Manama, PHILBAHMOMS Brings the Ramadan Spirit of Giving to Filipinos at Detention Facilities

MANAMA 29 may 2019 -- Representatives of Filipino-Bahraini moms (PHILBAHMOMS) joined officials of the Philippine Embassy in Manama for its monthly visit to Filipino detainees at the Isa Town reformation and rehabilitation centre for women on 21 May 2019.
Members of PHLBAHMOMS, led by Fatema Cabauatan Yousif Ali, took the time to get to know the Filipino detainees and share with them their own personal life experiences, aiming to uplift their spirits and provide hope despite challenging situations in life.
In the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the PHLBAHMOMS also shared gift packages to the detainees to add to the usual toiletries and call cards being distributed by Embassy officials.
The PHILBAHMOMS is an organization composed of former Filipinos married to Bahraini nationals, whose core values include providing support for personal growth and development, increasing awareness on social responsibilities and community engagement. END
