Rizal Monument Featured at PH Embassy in Hanoi’s Drawing Workshop

PHOTO: In celebration of National Heritage Month, an oil pastel drawing workshop was hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi on 26 May 2019 at the Chancery, participated in by Filipino community members and Embassy personnel.

The chosen subject for the workshop was the Rizal Monument, one of the iconic symbols for Philippine heritage.  Conducting the workshop was visual arts instructor Patrick Regalado, who used oil pastel as medium and taught blending and shading techniques to the participants. Various interpretations of the Rizal Monument were seen from the participants’ art work.
