TEL AVIV 31 May 2019 — The students of the Filipino Language and Culture Program at Bialik Rogozin Campus in Tel Aviv, Israel will hold their graduation ceremony in July this year.
“We are grateful for the continued support to the Program of the parents of the Filipino children born and raised in Israel. During the second year of the program, the students have shown progress in reading and speaking in Filipino. I wish to also thank the volunteer teachers from the Filipino community who served with dedication to be able to teach the children Filipino language and culture. I invite the parents of the other Filipino children studying in Bailik Rogozin Campus to enroll and avail of the free reintegration assistance of the Embassy,” Ambassador to Israel Neal Imperial said.
The Filipino Language and Culture Program is a flagship project of the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv and Bialik Rogozin Campus where around 800 Filipino students are enrolled. The Program aims to prepare Filipino kids for their eventual return to the Philippines.
The Program is supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs to promote the welfare of Filipino children born in Israel by providing reintegration support and teaching them about their cultural roots and identity. END
